Beyond Revitive: What Else Helped Ease My Peripheral Neuropathy
Aside from the Revitive Circulation Booster, I’ve tried several other things that help with foot pain and neuropathy symptoms. Some surprised me like socks and eventually even a grounding mat of all things. I’m not claiming miracles, just sharing what’s helped. I've spent quite a lot of money testing various things out, not for the good of humanity but for my own relief. Hopefully If I can help you avoid wasting time or money, then it’s worth writing this.
So if you're curious about what’s worked for me, stick around and I’ll walk you through it.

What brought me Relief from Peripheral Neuropathy
Foot Cast Socks
I searched for anything I could wrap around my foot while sitting down watching TV. I could not find anything suitable until I eventually came across Foot Cast Socks on Amazon UK. Foot Cast Socks on Amazon Ireland here. *Commissions-Earned
I first ordered the XL, but it was far too big. I then went for size L, which was a much better fit and I quickly ordered a second one. I wear these whenever my feet feel even slightly cold. If you’re dealing with the same kind of discomfort, these might help you too.
For reference, I’m a UK size 11 in shoes and the L is still a bit loose. I’d suggest going a size down from your usual, you can always return it if it doesn’t fit. Just note, there are no grips underneath, so they’re not meant for walking around the house. But for keeping your feet warm while you’re sitting down, they work really well.
The Trusty Hot Water Bottle
This is especially helpful when your Neuropathy symptoms are acting up. Make sure you get one with a soft cover and never use boiling water as it's bad for the hot water bottle and could be very bad for your feet, especially if your nerve damage is more advanced.

Foot Spa & Pads for Long-Term Relief
My treadmill use led to foot blisters. I invested in a proper foot soak tub, non-stick dressings, and metatarsal pads to ease the pressure. The pads are helpful for walking, not so much for running. Get a tub of epsom salts to add to the bath. Keep the salt away from small children! Make sure that the water is quite warm for best results and always test first as you don't want to damage your skin if your nerves can't discern the water temperature.

These socks actually made a difference. I wore them at night and my feet felt warm and pain-free as the material isn't too tight. The material sensation feels odd but not uncomfortable, maybe it’s doing something? I’ve since ordered more pairs. Be warned, they are a little pricey. I wear:
-
Ankle socks for bedtime
-
Crew socks for outdoor use
-
Regular sports socks for work

You can buy them in Ireland from the Incrediwear website. I do not earn if you buy there but I wanted to make sure you got the best price.
Massage Guns
Strangely, I get some temporary relief from using massage guns on my feet using the softest ball or rubber head and I use it in conjunction with the walking, Revitive use and hot water bottle aftercare for best effect.
I have 5 massage guns now, 3 cheap ones with questionable battery life and two very expensive ones that I bought from Massage Guns Ireland. I do not earn if you buy from them but I wanted you to know what quality costs. You can choose from the Amazon ranges and get what suits your budget. Go easy with them, light pressure is more effective!

Accidental Success with a Grounding Mat
I came across a well-made ad for grounding mats and got curious. A week into sleeping on one, I noticed something surprising: I hadn’t needed my usual night socks for the first time in over a year. I then went and bought a second, larger one.
Now, I’ll be upfront: the science behind grounding seems promising, but research is mixed. Some studies support it, others remain inconclusive. Still, I seem to be sleeping better and waking earlier.
Whether it’s the weather, a placebo effect, or something real, I’ll take it. If my symptoms ease - even slightly - for under €50, that’s a win in my book.

Conclusion: Manage, Don’t Ignore
Pain is your body’s way of telling you that something needs to change. Whether it’s walking more, improving circulation, wearing better socks, or investing in tools like Revitive, doing something is always better than doing nothing.
A nurse once told me, “No one should live with pain — it blocks the healing process.” That stuck with me. If a medical professional offers you a painkiller, take it. Relieving pain reduces tension, which can help your body heal.
It’s the same with Peripheral Neuropathy. While you work on treating the root causes, it’s essential to ease the discomfort — not suffer through it.
I hope some of the ideas I’ve shared here help you the way they’ve helped me. And if you try any of the products mentioned and find relief, I’d genuinely love to hear from you.
Thanks for Reading, David
